David’s “Christmas From The Heart”-Tour-Band: Rückkehr bekannter Gesichter
24 NovDavid wird auf seiner “Christmas From The Heart”-Tour wieder von seiner Band begleitet, wobei es ein paar kleinere personelle Änderungen gibt!
Da Drummer Jerry Roe und Gitarrist Mike Komprass wegen anderweitiger Verpflichtungen nicht mit auf Tour gehe können, wurden Drew Steen – Drummer von Demi Lovato – und Gitarrist Steve Fekete, der David bereits im vergangenen Jahr auf den Jingle Jam-Konzerten unterstützte, angeheuert.
Keyboarderin Kendra Lowe und Bassiste Dave Filice sind ebenfalls wieder mit von der Partie.

Bei den zwei Konzerten in Salt Lake City wird zudem David’s vorheriger Bassist Alex Rowe zur Band hinzustoßen, dabei allerdings nicht den E-Bass, sondern den Kontrabass zupfen!

What’s on it: A collection of 13 Christmas classics that feature a surprising sophistication and an even more surprising lack of cheese factor.
Joyful noise: Archuleta’s range shines — and the classical arrangements are gorgeous — on sings such as “Joy to the World,” “Angels We Have Heard on High,” “O Come All Ye Faithful” and “O Holy Night.”
Bah, humbug: No complaints, except that Archie’s “O Holy Night” high note is not quite as soaring as you might expect. Perfect for: Quality Christmas music that you and your teen/tween can agree on.

The American Idol alum plays it straight on this collection of traditional hymns. He has a lovely voice, especially on the “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” duet with Charice Pempengco, which will make this a must-have for fans – and pleasant for others, too. Two candy canes.

David Archuleta may be a teenager but he’s well suited for classic holiday songs like “Silent Night” and “Ave Maria.”
The former “American Idol” runner-up sings those songs and more on his new holiday CD “Christmas from the Heart.”
There’s a plethora of holiday music out there with musicians recording holiday music just because, but Archuleta’s recording makes sense. He’s got a powerful, soulful voice that’s beyond his years.
If you’re looking to add to your holiday music collection or get into the spirit of the season, this CD is a good choice.
