Joyful noise: Archuleta’s range shines — and the classical arrangements are gorgeous — on sings such as „Joy to the World,“ „Angels We Have Heard on High,“ „O Come All Ye Faithful“ and „O Holy Night.“
Bah, humbug: No complaints, except that Archie’s „O Holy Night“ high note is not quite as soaring as you might expect. Perfect for: Quality Christmas music that you and your teen/tween can agree on.

The American Idol alum plays it straight on this collection of traditional hymns. He has a lovely voice, especially on the „Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas“ duet with Charice Pempengco, which will make this a must-have for fans – and pleasant for others, too. Two candy canes.
